Fantastic introduction to surfing. Alberto is a great teacher. He first explained the agenda, then we got right to it and were in the water in minutes. I appreciated his insights and patience. I’m not pro just yet, but certainly have enough to keep me busy with some practice.

Excellent surf lesson service. Alberto communicated very well before and during the class. The session includes equipment rental and two hours of lessons. You'll definitely be able to stand up in your first class.

We have now done two separate surf trips with Alberto as our guide. He has a lot of knowledge about the surf spots and is super accommodating to whatever it is you want to do. We surf some incredible waves with him and had a great time on both trips. I highly recommend Alberto if you are looking to have a surf trip in zihuatanejo

My third time surfing, my first time with Alberto. In the first ten minutes with him I learned more than my first two lessons from other instructors. He was very friendly, and wanted to see me do better. I could feel it. I improved so much and I will be hring him again soon.

My husband and I hired Alberto as our surf guide on our recent trip to Ixtapa and we are SO happy we did! We travelled with two littles to Club Med, so we didn't bring boards. Alberto was communicative, timely, and brought great quality boards and wax, making it super easy to catch waves and have a blast. We appreciated Alberto sharing the lay of the land and were stoked when he took us to a beach with an empty lineup and plenty of waves for us to catch! Gracias para todo Alberto! 🤙🏽

Alberto was so helpful teaching my sister and I how to surf. He gave great instructions and warm ups as we prepared to get out on the water. Would recommend if you are in the Zihuatanejo area!

An excellent experience.

Alberto contacted me by email immediately to schedule a surf lesson for my children. The customer service is incredible and their personal treatment is even better. He is an expert at teaching surfing. He gave us two hours of classes teaching us all the basic techniques for surfing and both of my children were able to catch waves quickly. You know the tide and the area perfectly. He is an expert. I recommend them!!

Alberto is GREAT!!! Full of local knowledge to get you waves and keep you safe. He will show you where to get the best surf as well as the best food. He was super chill and a pleasure to spend time with.
He arranged to get some photos our last session from his wonderful wife/photographer.
I would highly recommend!!!
His English is solid and getting better everyday.

Alberto was great! He was a big help and very communicative over mail and WhatsApp and was always on time to pick us up. We booked two days surfing with him and we learned so much. I highly recommend booking a lesson if you are a beginner or even up to advanced, he will help you find the good spots and help you grow.

Alberto likely is THE BEST surf and area guide in the greater Zihuatanejo / Ixtapa area. I have surfed in other spots in Mexico, but this was my first time in Zihuatanejo and as always, I usually Google search surf guides before going somewhere and Alberto‘s name and business came up. Obviously, with the perfect reviews, I had to check him out. I am certainly glad I did as he took me to all the best local spots, introduced me to some of his friends, and additionally told me and showed me all throughout downtown and the surrounding area and immediate communities. He was patient with my very beginner ability level still, and gave great tips and pointers of how to improve. I also felt very safe with him throughout our week together. Thank you again, Alberto, what a fantastic week and I am looking forward to coming back again. If you need a surf guide, this is your man!

I had a free afternoon and it occurred to me to look for where to surf. I found the guide Alberto who gave me a mini surf trip to a very nice local beach.
With good waves and transportation included, they rented me an excellent board, I was able to make the most of a free afternoon. I was also lucky to have my photos taken at the location.
100% recommended to get to know the local spots and if you are looking to learn to surf.

I was on vacation in Ixtapa and we decided to try a surf class with Alberto. My 14-year-old son, my 15-year-old nephew, my 19-year-old niece and I were going. We have all surfed before except my niece. Alberto was fabulous in helping my niece understand the basics and be able to practice and he was super good with us in giving us tips on how to better control our position on the board. I must say that the waves in Playa Madera were more difficult than in La Saladita where we had surfed before, but still, it was an excellent experience. Alberto and his team are fabulous!!

I highly recommend hiring Alberto. We surfed 2 days with him at Playa Linda. He was very responsive and informative with e-mails prior to taking us out. On surf days he was prompt (usually arriving early). On the beach and in the water he gave us excellent surf directions. We will hire him again when we come back to Zihuatanejo.

Albert was an AMAZING surf guide and instructor. He communicates well via WhatsApp, his English is perfect, and he’s reliable. His car was nice and clean. He gave me several recommendations for food and fun around Zihuatanejo. He brought his photographer and took professional DSLR photos of me surfing for free! In three days he took me to three different beaches with zero crowds. Whether you are a professional surfer looking for secret beaches that barrel, or a beginner looking to learn, Albert is the best guide in Zihuatanejo. I highly recommend him.

I went to Zihuatenejo for a wedding and last minute found Alberto on Google maps to plan in some surfing! So thankful we found him. He was really accommodating. He helped us find boards for the sizes and number of boards we needed, and arranged to have us picked up from our hotel to go to Playa Linda nearby. The waves were excellent and he and his wife took really great photos! Not great because of my surf skills, but good quality photos =) these definitely helped better understand what I need to work on! He also gave us helpful surf tips and went out surfing with us when he could.

Albert runs a great tour for surfing in Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo. He and his guide Pablo took me out to a nice beach with a perfect wave for a beginner surfer. They knew what to look for and helped with tips/pointers to get me standing up and having fun. Well worth the cost, highly recommend!
